TRUMP CABINET PICKS: WHO’S BEEN TAPPED TO SERVE IN THE PRESIDENT-ELEC T’S ADMINISTRATION
For most of President Joe Biden’s name, gas costs reached record highs. The cost of fuel began to decline later in the year after hitting the highest national average rate in the country’s past in 2022. In 2023, costs resurrected before reaching their highest point in April 2024. In May 2024, oil prices all but started to drop. However, gasoline prices continue to shift nationwide. Hawaii has the most expensive gas prices at$ 4.559 per gallon. However, Oklahoma has the least expensive gas at$ 2.517 per quart.
However, even with this year’s significant increases in fuel costs, the price remains higher now than when President-elect Donald Trump was in business between January 2017 and January 2021. It remains to be seen how Trump’s administration may impact fuel prices now that he is scheduled to take office on January 20, 2025.
