With only a month to go in company, Vice President Kamala Harris is speaking to young officials in Maryland.
Harris is expected to begin speaking from Largo, Maryland, at 11: 35 a. m. EST. The White House stated that “young officials who are energetic and connected to their local areas” would receive the conversation.

The vice president’s lost to President-elect Donald Trump may move one step closer Tuesday, when the Electoral College meets to cast votes. Harris is expected to possess 226 votes, and Trump is expected to possess 312 votes in the Electoral College.
During a joint session of Congress on January 6, 2025, one of Harris’s last duties as vice president may be certifying her election lost to Trump.
