A passenger vehicle and a vehicle collided on a bridge in Minas Gerais, southern Brazil, on Saturday, resulting in 22 incidents, authorities said.
13 people were transported to local facilities in Teofilo Otoni, according to the local fire department.
The vehicle, which had departed from Sao Paulo and was carrying 45 passengers, apparently had a wheel disaster, causing the pilot to lose power and fall into a trailer. Treyore rescuers claim to have rescued 13 people so far from the bus’s wreckage.
The van and a vehicle carrying three passengers even collided, according to the fire department, but all three of the three people survived.
More patients need to be taken off the field, and rescue groups are still stationed there.
