According to a record in the Wall Street Journal, Joe Biden is considering commuting all prisoners on death row before he leaves company. One more way for Biden to” Trump-proof” the government to stop the new leader from enacting policies that his and his extreme left-backed supporters oppose.

During his first name, Trump allowed the deaths of 13 individuals to go forward. Biden wants to ride all of the federal prisoners ‘ death sentences to living in prison without the possibility of a pardon.
Spiritual organizations, anti-death penalty activists, and civil rights organizations have been pressing the White House to have Biden’s death row sentences commuted. A selection is expected before Christmas.
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY ) was appalled.
In a floor speech on Wednesday, McConnell said,” It may mean that democratic politics is more important to the president than the lives taken by these killers.” It may mean that legal mumbo jumbo must replace society’s most vehement opposition to white power and antisemitism.
In addition to the condemned people held by the Justice Department, four residents sit on the government’s death row at Fort Leavenworth, Kan. A White House selection might have an impact on pending cases that could lead to a death sentence, such as that of Luigi Mangione, who is accused of killing medical professional Brian Thompson, but it was unclear whether any potential commutations would protect them.  ,
Biden made a campaign promise to abolish the national death penalty during his 2020 plan, and during his presidency, no deaths have been carried out. Biden may produce some exclusions from his commutation strategy for those who committed especially “heinous” crimes. Among those are the Boston Marathon bomb Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the Tree of Life synagogue killer Robert Bowers, and Dylann Roof, who killed 9 persons at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina. in 2015.

Biden has the right to ride anyone’s word for any purpose. However, he may be invalidating the judgments of juries and judges who had more in-depth knowledge of these cases than some Justice Department attorneys if he removed these men from death row. These people were given the death penalty for a reason, and appeals judges have refused to change that ruling.
They deserve it.
