A plane crashed into a hospital in western Turkey on Sunday, leaving four people dead, including two aircraft, a physician, and an individual ship. According to Mugla provincial government Idris Akbiyik, the accident took place during takeoff and has been linked to thick clouds.
” The plane fell to the ground after having struck the fifth floor of a medical during take-off”, Akbiyik said, noting,” There was extreme fog”. He added that a search into the cause of the collision is still being conducted.
The plane had departed from the top of Mugla’s doctor in poor presence, en route to Antalya. NTV TV’s video footage showed the aeroplane scurrying in the clouds shortly after takeoff before crashing into an empty field close to the hospital.
In Turkey’s southwest Isparta territory, where six men died in a plane collision between two military aircraft during a training exercise, this event comes less than two days after another incident involving a helicopter. The defense ministry has not yet established the cause of that incident.
