Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is reportedly set to marry his fiancée, Lauren Sanchez, next Saturday in an extravagant$ 600 million marriage in Aspen, Colorado. The pair, engaged since May 2023, is set to tie the knot in a winter wonderland-themed service featuring colorful décor, twinkling lights, and holiday beauty.
Before the wedding, Bezos, 60, and Sanchez, 54, celebrated at Matsuhisa, a pleasure sushi restaurant in Aspen, which they apparently booked for two times, Thursday and Friday, as per The Daily Mail.
The bride is expected to be a star-studded event. The couple recently celebrated their wedding in Positano, Italy, joined by distinctive characters such as Bill Gates, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Queen Rania of Jordan according to the New York Post.
Without receiving standard verification of the time, Bezos and Sanchez have kept their wedding plans secret. The pair has been together since they first started dating in 2018, and Bezos announced their union in 2019 soon after he finished his divorce from MacKenzie Scott.
Sanchez was first spotted wearing a large heart-shaped circle in December 2019 and rumors about their wedding. Bezos officially proposed in May 2023 aboard his$ 500 million mega-yacht, presenting Sanchez with a cushion-cut pink diamond valued at$ 2.5 million.
The bride-to-be stock three children: Nikko, 23, with former NFL player Tony Gonzalez, and Ella, 16, and Evan, 18, with ex-husband Patrick Whitesell. Bezos has three kids with his ex-wife, MacKenzie Scott.
However, as news of the spectacular marriage unfolds, Amazon is facing a nationwide workers ‘ strike. For the second time in a row, employees in four states are protesting for better working conditions. The future weddings show a striking contrast between Bezos ‘ lavish lifestyle and the growing unease among the workforce at Amazon.
