Lara Trump, a Democrat, acknowledged the stories and expressed her willingness to play the part, telling Fox News ‘ Maria Bartiromo last month,” If this is something I’m asked to do, I would seriously consider it,” while noting that Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla. ) had not yet contacted her.
Earlier this month, she also resigned as RNC co-chair, fueling speculation she was sending a message to Gov. DeSantis informs her that she was willing to take the job. Nevertheless, she has now officially withdrawn her title from consideration ,
” After an extraordinary amount of thought, thought, and encouragement from so many, I have decided to remove my name from consideration for the United States Senate”, she wrote in a blog on X. ” I’m really humbled by the unwavering support the people of our country, and here in the excellent state of Florida, show me. I couldn’t have been more honored to assist as RNC co-chair during the most high-stakes poll of our lives,” he said. I have read a lot of your form words, and I can’t thank you enough.

Although there are probably some in the group who are let down by this development. It was always improbable that she would be chosen. DeSantis isn’t anticipated to announce his choose until January, but his public statements on the subject have suggested he intends to select a person with more parliamentary experience.
” Florida deserves a Senator who may help President Trump deliver on his election mandate, be strong on immigration and border security, take on the rooted bureaucracy and operational state, reverse the government’s fiscal drop, be animated by liberal principles, and has a proven history of outcomes”, DeSantis said last month.
DeSantis’s visit for” a proven history of benefits” made it clear Lara Trump wasn’t suited for the Senate seat. Despite what Trump supporters might suppose, her lack of congressional experience makes her a bad fit.
Despite Lara Trump no more being a candidate for the place, she teased that a “big news” is coming soon.
” I do own a major announcement that I’m excited to share in January, therefore, be tuned”, she said. I’m still very excited about public support and look forward to returning someday to our country. In the meantime, I wish Governor DeSantis the best of luck with this session”.

Personally, I’m upset that Lara Trump didn’t stay as co-RNC head. Keeping Lara in that position would have been a wise decision if Donald Trump wanted to establish his reputation within the Republican Party.  ,
