Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, pledged to destroy Ukraine further on Sunday, saying Kyiv” may repent what they are trying to do in our land.”
Eight Ukrainian robots struck six personal high-rise houses in Kazan, which is located about 800 kilometers west of Moscow, on the day before Putin made his statement.
Russia accused Ukraine of a “massive” drone attack that hit a luxury apartment block in the city, some 1, 000 kilometres ( 620 miles ) from the frontier.
During a televised state conference on Sunday, Putin declared,” Whoever, however much they try to destroy, will face several times more death themselves” and may regret what they are trying to do, according to AFP media company.
During a ceremony, Putin spoke to Tatarstan’s regional leader about the incident in Kazan.
Another instance of the nearly three-year conflict’s intensifying air campaigns were the ones that took place with the aerial assault on Kazan. However, Ukrainian authorities have remained silent regarding the incident.
In response to Ukrainian strikes on Russian soil, Putin had previously issued warnings about launching hypersonic ballistic missiles in central Kyiv.
Never gave up hope to normalize ties with the US: Putin
Putin stated that Russia was willing to resume normal relations with the United States and other Western nations as long as such efforts are not in conflict with Russian interests.
Putin stated in an interview with Russian TV and radio station VGTRK that it is possible to do everything if there is desire. We have never abandoned this desire”.
The Russian President was responding to a question about the possibility of normalizing relations between Russia and the US.
Everything changes in international relations and only interests remain invariable, in this case,” the interests of Russia and its people”, the Russian leader stated.
” We are prepared for that if we see the situation changing in a way that offers opportunities and prospects for developing relations with other countries. It’s not a question of us, but it’s a question of them. But this should be without detriment to the interests of the Russian Federation”, Putin emphasised.
