When Luigi Mangione, the person accused of brutally killing UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in New York City earlier this month, was just the start of the crowd’s euphoria at NBC’s” Saturday Night Live,” they erupted in cheers.  ,

The show was little short of bizarre.
During the” Weekend Update” section, anchor Colin Jost began discussing Mangione’s extradition to New York after his capture in Pennsylvania.
” Luigi Mangione dropped —” he began before he was interrupted by applause.
Jost, to his funds, appeared taken away by the applause. He slammed and appeared offstage like a man who wasn’t certain whether or not he was being punched. Unfortunately, he wasn’t.
” Yeah, yeah, surely,’ Woo!'” In response to their distorted joy, he said with sarcasm. “You’re wooing for fairness, proper”?
The joke installation was then continued. Luigi Mangione “lost his fight for repatriation” and was flown from Pennsylvania to New York to experience a number of fees, he claimed. ” In related information, Bumble exploded”.
SNL Weekend Update mentions CEO Luigi Mangione and the audience shouts and shares the photo. twitter.com/Hn6k2kTBp2— End Wokeness ( @End Wokeness ) December 22, 2024
I haven’t watched SNL in years—not because of its democratic agenda, but because it hasn’t been really interesting in years. I occasionally stumble across a skit that has become popular on social media, primarily for the novelty of being really interesting more than anything else. There was a time when it became a regular on weekends, especially if I enjoyed the host or music act. But those days are long gone.

For our Celebs:   The White House Professional Should Be Penalized for Telling a False Lie About Joe Biden.
Of course, the show’s continuous anti-conservative discrimination certainly didn’t make it easier to love, but this latest incident wasn’t on the solid or writers—it was on the market. A audience erupted in yells at the mere mention of the name of the accused killer. It wasn’t just incorrect, it was sickening—a time where people seemed to rejoice in drama and violence, crossing a collection no one should ever mix.
But, unfortunately it is not unexpected.
The remaining has consistently elevated those who commit horrible crimes to the status of soldiers or even to the position of champions because of their victims.
Hugo Chavez and Nicolas Maduro are defended despite their governments ‘ financial ruin and human rights violations, while images like Che Guevara, who led the terrible political deaths that occurred during the Cuban Revolution, are idolized as anti-imperialism.  ,
Many on the remaining celebrate ( and continue to celebrate ) convicted copkiller Mumia Abu-Jamal. Yet as witness evidence and forensic evidence demonstrated his guilt, Abu-Jamal practically became a communist icon.

Hollywood, also, embraces characters like Roman Polanski, who admitted to sexually assaulting a 13-year-old. Yet Harvey Milk, lauded as a gay rights forerunner, has been shielded from investigation over his suicide, receiving a postage stamp, a Navy send commitment, and a Presidential Medal of Freedom under Barack Obama.
Jost may have been surprised by the SNL listener’s response, but after decades of pandering to progressive people, he really shouldn’t have been that shocked.
