A passenger planes en route from Baku to Grozny crashed near Kazakhstan’s Aktau airports on Wednesday. The event occurred after the plane officially requested an emergency landing.
Kazakhstan’s emergency department said that 42 people are likely dying in Azerbaijan Airlines ‘ plane accident.
According to the Kazakh travel ministry, the plane had 67 passengers, 62 of whom were passengers, and five of the crew. According to reports, 25 persons are said to have survived the accident.
Azerbaijan Airlines said the Embraer 190 aircraft, with flight number J2-8243, had been flying from Baku to Grozny, the capital of Russia’s Chechnya, but had been forced to make an emergency landing approximately 3 km ( 1.8 miles ) from the Kazakh city of Aktau.
The aircraft had been diverted to Aktau, according to Kazakhstan’s emergency government, because of heavy clouds in Grozny. The plane, belonging to Azerbaijan Airlines, had circled the airport several times before the fall.

The crisis situations department of the nation claimed that its employees were igniting a fire at the location.
