When Taylor Lorenz, an British blogger, learned that a US citizen needed a visa to travel to India, she was taken by surprise. She claimed that the guidelines were distinct before and that “most of the web hasn’t updated their direction since this recently.”
” Most of the online hasn’t updated its guidance since this just changed, and several friends of mine *in India* were convinced that you could get a visa on arrival (u doesn’t now ). These right-wingers are quite sad liars, she said in a social media post, claiming to be knowledgeable about the minutiae of India’s immigration laws.
” Wow, you’re stupid as earth for not realizing u needed a visa to go to India,” I love all the 100s of conservatives in my comments! Just be fr. No one of you freaks has always left the country. Additionally, you used to be able to obtain a visa upon arrival, but it only just changed. It’s also wrong when u yahoo,’ she added.
She even uploaded pictures of the “india visa on arrival usa” search results.
Multiple of my friends in India firmly believe you can obtain a visa upon arrival ( though you can right now ), and the majority of the online hasn’t updated their guidelines since this has recently. These pitiful liars act like they are on top of everything about India’s immigration laws.

Google responded to the query with” Yes, citizens of the United States can obtain a visa for India through the Tourist Visa on Arrival ( TVoA ) program.” However, this system does not include USA as the region from where people may find visa-on-arrival in India.
The journalist received a series of condemnation, however, a number of people even came in her defence.
Lorenz has even contacted suggestions for visits to India. ” Moreover, I figuratively booked this trip a week ago, lol. Anyhow take recs for Mumbai!! I’m only going as a tourist”, she said.
However, India offers visitor visa on arrival under TVoA system to these nations- Finland, Japan, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Singapore, Cambodia, Vietnam, Philippines, Laos, Indonesia and Myanmar.
