On Wednesday, the Oakland Sheriff’s Office announced that one victim of a quad firing on Christmas Eve near Oxford High School had passed away.
Judge Mike Bouchard’s company announced the release in a Twitter post Wednesday evening.
Officials in Oakland County did not provide any additional information about the prey or the death.
On Ray Road between Lapeer and North Oxford Road in Oxford Township, about 6:32 p.m. on Tuesday, the killing was reported. Three people were found with gunshot wounds, the prosecutor’s office said.
According to officials, the other two sufferers are “on the path to real healing,” according to the Twitter Christmas Day upgrade.
A male suspect was in prison, according to authorities, and a firearm was found Tuesday evening.
Sheriff’s authorities said on Wednesday that the terrible events of last day “appear to be entirely random, with the suspect simply passing through the area when he went off on a violent binge at various spots,” according to sheriff’s officials.
He has a history of weapons acts, and we intend to pursue any charges against him because he is a convicted felon with which we have filed numerous warrants. He is awaiting official charges at our prison.

The shooting took place close to Oxford High School, the site of a fatal large shooting on November 30, 2021, and close to the school premises there.
