Hudson Meek, an actor who appeared in” Baby Driver” and voiced Bada in the preschool-age series” Badanamu Stories”, has died after falling from a moving vehicle. He was 16.
Meek fell” to the footpath from a motor vehicle in action” in Vestavia Hills, Alabama, on the evening of Dec. 19, the Jefferson County sheriff’s office said Thursday in a speech to The Times. After being admitted to the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital with blunt-force injury, Meek passed away.
According to the sheriff’s office, the Vestavia Hills Police Department is looking into the situation surrounding the death.
The Police Department members did not respond to The Times ‘ request for comment right away on Thursday.
” Our hearts are broken to communicate that Hudson Meek went home to be with Jesus now”, Meek’s home wrote Saturday in a , statement , on his Instagram page. His 16 years on earth were “far to brief,” according to the statement from his mentor,” but he accomplished so much and had a significant impact on all he met.”
His death, according to Meek’s home, was a horrible and unexpected event. The teen’s community was comforted by knowing that he will continue to give to others for years to come, according to his official , obituary. His home did not mention his death’s produce or manner in the article.
Meek played a younger type of Ansel Elgort’s Baby in the 2017 action-drama” Baby Driver”. He also appeared in the CW’s” Legacies”, Hulu’s” Genius” and NBC’s crime drama” Found”. His family said that some of his additional works are slated for release in 2025.
His home said,” He absolutely loved having the opportunity to learn the names and tales of every cast and crew part.”
Hudson Joseph Meek played sport for the Vestavia Hills Rebel soccer team while he was a freshman in Alabama and a native of Vestavia Hills High School. Meek enjoyed interacting with companions outside of class, participating in water sports, traveling, and acting, according to the article. He even loved binge-watching” The Simpsons”, playing and watching sports — especially football, baseball and boxing — and “anything involving the Auburn Tigers”.
” Hudson was reflective and intelligent, however he was tough when he set his mind to something”, the article said. At age 13, he obtained his superior open ocean documentation. He visited all 50 U. S. state and had set his sights on visiting all seven countries. The artist was a committed participant of the Dawson Memorial Baptist Church, where he frequently attended youth activities.
” Hudson’s character was one of a kind. He was assured, convicted in his views, unexpected, and quick-witted. He was a fan of friendly banter and never let the information prevent a funny story from being interesting. He was a prank, loved a great joke, and was happiest when he was making some laugh”, the article said. ” Hudson thrived in settings that made it possible for him to meet and interact with new people. Husson was a charismatic and creative people who lived life to the fullest.
Meek is survived by his relatives, Derek Firth Meek and Lani Wells Meek, and older brother, Tucker Firth Meek, his mothers, various aunts, uncles and cousins.
The home has set up the Hudson J. Meek Memorial Scholarship at Vestavia Hills High School and is organizing a celebration of life service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, they are requesting donations from mourners to the bank.
