A Chipotle client in Brentwood, Washington, DC, was captured fiercely attacking an individual after complaining that she received the wrong order. She allegedly even threatened to come back and” stab” the workers.
The person pushes past employees behind the fast-food restaurant’s front desk while carrying an unoccupied dish, according to the video posted on X. Before putting food in the dish, she quickly shakes off the workers.
Employee Roberto Hernandez attempted to seize the dish up from her, which further escalated the scenario. She pulled it away as he reached for it and slapped him across the face, sending the meal products flying around the laptop. Hernandez, clearly shaken, later said that the film, which has been viewed at least eight million times, was” triggering” for him as per The New York Post.
Hernandez informed WUSA9 that the girl was upset that her Uber Eats attempt was wrong. She alleged that her taco plate lacked the dual foods she had ordered and demanded a refund. Hernandez explained that both he and his boss informed her that they were unable to approach a payment and that she should contact Uber to get a solution.
Hernandez confirmed after looking at the receipt that the order did not contain the claimed twice meat.
Despite the reason, the woman reportedly went behind the counter to make a fresh order herself and became extremely agitated. When Hernandez tried to intervene, he was attacked.
” I was hungry, unhappy. But I’m a guy, you know, I can’t hit a female”, he said. ” So I walked away”.
Following the incident, Hernandez informed, the customer allegedly made online threats to the staff, telling them she would return to” stab” them and “take their life” ..
” I was scared. She was scaring my co-workers very”.
In an interview with WUSA9, the person denied the claims, claiming the people refused to copy her plate or give a refund. She also argued that the picture was edited, alleging that the workers had first “put their arms on her.” She claimed that the bowl’s shooting was an assault’s response.
” I wasn’t violent toward them until I got assaulted. The movie was cut short”,
The girl plans to reimburse the fast-food ring, though Chipotle has since filed a policeman statement regarding the alleged abuse. This food chain’s recent assault is not its second. Two customers in North Carolina assaulted a worker next December who was informed of additional meat prices, and two women in Maryland threw meals and a seat at a employee in Maryland the same month.
