French KevinO’Leary, a reporter for Shark Tank, stated that he is very supportive of the idea of Canada joining with the US, and that half of Canadians support this, but they also oppose Prime Minister Justin Trudeau‘s decision to deal with newly elected President-elect Donald Trump. The American merchant promised to visit Mar-a-Lago to discuss a possible US-Canada merger.
” There are 41 million Indians, generally the people of California, sitting on the country’s largest volume of all assets, including the most important: energy and water. People, over the holidays, the next two weeks, have been talking about this. They want to learn more. Certainly, there are a lot of problems, more particulars of what could be the beginning of an monetary union. Consider the power of combining two markets to eliminate the boundary between Canada and the US and transfer all that tool to the northern regions where China and Russia are stepping in. But secure that, give a typical money, figure out fees across the board… I like this concept and at least half of the Canadians are serious”, KevinO’Leary said.
However, KevinO’Leary pointed out that the majority of Canadians don’t believe Truduea to carry out the negotiations with his government collapsing, so he said he may travel to Mar-a-Lago to speak with Trump about this. He stated that he thought Canadians had put their trust in him for the negotiations.
Canada to become US’s 51st Position?
The conflict began as a pun at a Mar-a-Lago dining where Donald Trump and Justin Trudeau’s state leaders sat down for a meal. After Trump threatened to impose a 25 % tax on Canada if they didn’t stop pushing illegal immigrants and medicines through the border, Trudeau made a courtesy visit. Trump claimed that as the 51st state and that Trudeau would become the governor, that a 25 % tax would hurt Canada’s business, and that Trump may have agreed to do the same.
After Canada, Trump has also expressed his desire to get Panama and Greenland.
