After every election, the losing group tends to sit up, lick their sores, and try to figure out what went wrong and how to fix it. There are plenty of intelligent people who are aware that the Democratic Party has become too extreme and awake, which is why middle-class citizens have abandoned them.

Then there are individuals like former Trump press secretary and host Jen Psaki, who wants Democrats to be even more terrible.
Psaki believes the Democrats missed a “big opportunity” by passing over  , Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez ( AOC ) in favor of Rep. Gerry Connolly for the top spot on the House Oversight Committee.  ,
” Instead, they chose Congressman Gerry Connolly, a little older member who was backed by Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi”, Psaki said.
The House Oversight Committee is a crucial forum for shaping public opinion and challenging the stories of the opposing party. With that in mind, Democrats opted for Connolly, a 74-year-old experienced senator who is most definitely much smarter than Ocasio-Cortez. Connolly lacks the star charm and social media skills of AOC, it’s undoubtedly true, but do Psaki and people actually think this is the key to winning elections?
The party obviously didn’t see it that means, and they sided with knowledge over drama, voting 131 to 84 in Connolly’s pursuit. Psaki was disappointed.
” Why does that matter”? Psaki continued. This committee is one of the few in Congress that really receives media coverage or national interest. Under Jamie Raskin, it became a vital platform for dismissing Republican propaganda. And while I have a lot of respect for Speaker Pelosi and have nothing against Congressman Connolly, it seemed like a good time to use some of the training we should have learned from the November election. Otherwise, Democrats passed over one of the youngest, most media-savvy members of Congress for a key open management position”.

Yet as Democrats are trying to regain their impact with an increasingly skeptical voter, Psaki made these remarks. Ocasio-Cortez is rarely the people you want to raise to party leadership—not if you want to earn elections again, anyway.
Consistently, Psaki wasn’t the only MSNBC host representing the Democratic Party’s far-left aircraft panning the bash of AOC. Chris Hayes and Joy Reid wasted no time lambasting the move, with Hayes calling Pelosi’s behind-the-scenes maneuvering “madness” and Reid decrying the party’s “gerontocracy” . ,
Even as the 84-year-old Pelosi is recovering from hip surgery after a fall,” Pelosi whipped vote to ensure Connolly won the Management job over the young sun in the group.” It feels like a time of real madness”, Hayes said.
“]The ] gerontocracy seems like it’s intractable”, Reid said. When Barack Obama was elected, he kind of pushed away the DNC and founded his own business because” I think there is a pity about the wooden means the DNC operates.”
These individuals want leaders who did unhindered push the party more left. AOC’s advocacy may energize the extreme left, but it alienates middle-class people and enhances Democratic appeal. Psaki’s say that AOC is the answer to Democratic challenges isn’t really misguided—it’s immoral. Instead of supporting radicals whose policies turn off voters, the group should move to the middle.
