Suchir Balaji's mother calls for FBI investigation, alleges foul play; flags probe by San Francisco police

Poornima Ramarao, the family of 26 year old Indian-origin technology scholar and former OpenAI staff, Suchir Balaji, has called for an FBI investigation into his mysterious death.
Ramarao asserts that evidence of bad play has been found in a private autopsy and research, casting significant doubts on the San Francisco officer’s determination that Suchir had died by suicide.
She stated on her X bill that” we hired a private investigator and conducted a second postmortem to clarify the cause of death.” According to the police, the secret examination fails to establish the cause of suicide.
She further added,” Suchir’s apartment was ransacked, evidence of a struggle in the bathroom, and blood areas suggest people hit him there”.
She added that San Fransisco authorities have declared this cold-blooded death a death, but that this does not prevent them from getting justice.
    ” We demand FBI research”.
Billionaire Elon Musk even held up Ramarao’s says, responding,” This doesn’t seem like a death”
Before, in an appointment with the Business Insider, Ramarao claimed that her son was materially stable, with stock investments that could have allowed him to buy a house, and he had plans to establish a machine-learning nonprofit focused on care. ” He was upbeat and happy” ,adding,” What can go wrong within a few hours that his life is lost”?
The tragedy happened soon after Balaji’s 26th day.
Ramarao claimed that she couldn’t reach him because she believed he might have misplaced his cellphone or gone walking. She went to his house on Monday, but she was not contacted. Growing anxious, she contacted the San Francisco police, who discovered his system the next day.
The officers informed Ramarao that surveillance footage showed Balaji alone in the house and ruled out bad play. However, the home says they were not allowed to enter the house or examine his possessions, deepening their concerns.
The mother’s legal efforts include urging San Francisco officials to reopen the case. They have launched a Change. nonprofit plea, a social media campaign, and an event on 27 December to celebrate Balaji’s lifestyle and increase knowledge.
” It doesn’t look like a normal position”. Ramarao said. Balaji’s families are collaborating with an attorney to get the San Francisco police to conduct a “proper research” and reopen the case.
But, Ramarao even emphasized that the community isn’t pointing fingers at OpenAI.
Balaji, a respectable number in the software industry, was known for his efforts to OpenAI and his outspoken condemnation of AI companies ‘ techniques. He made articles in October after speaking with The New York Times about possible trademark violations by leading AI companies. He resigned from OpenAI in August, citing social conflicts, and became a key figure in The New York Times ‘ rights circumstance against OpenAI.
Soon after his 26th day, Balaji was found deceased in his San Francisco house on 26 November. The officers immediately determined that the victim’s death was a death based on CCTV footage that showed him alone. Nevertheless, his family, friends, and followers have raised concerns about the conditions surrounding his death.
Ramarao’s request for an FBI analysis is receiving more common support than the San Francisco police have previously stated.
