In the final days of his presidency, President Joe Biden and his close assistants are weighing their impact on his legacy, including whether the election of 2024 will determine it.
Following at least a quarter of mounting stress from Democratic Party members both publicly and privately, Biden announced his presidential campaign on July 21. He first opposed calls to close his strategy and also claimed that the only person who could persuade him to do so was the” Lord Almighty.”  , But, by July 21, Biden announced he had stage down, and soon after, he endorsed his vice president, Kamala Harris.
According to advisers speaking with the Washington Post, Biden is standing by his conviction that he might have won reelection months after the Democrats suffered a humiliating election battle. The president has suggested that he still believed his rely on the long-term achievement of the United States would be more important to voters than skewed topics like inflation, even though he acknowledged that he “screwed up” during his June argument against Trump.
He even recognized the changing multimedia environment as a component in his party’s death.
In a podcast interview this month, Biden said,” We pick what we want to hear. It’s a completely different deal.” We must determine how to deal with this important industrial change. If Nixon was more accustomed to television, he wouldn’t have perspired but little, and he would be president when he’d hit Kennedy. I know that sounds ridiculous. But consider the adjustments that are occurring. What do you do next? What is correct? We have no information again. I’m not certain how that gets resolved”.
The relationship between the two played a role on the campaign trail, even though Biden’s advisers told the outlet that he was mindful not to place blame Harris for his thoughts he would still have been successful against Trump.
Harris had to face the challenges of stepping out of Biden’s dark and pointing to a different future and also wanting to show admiration for him and not criticize her boss.
Bob Weiner, Biden’s long-time friend, told Times Radio that Biden believed he could have defeated Trump in the wake of Harris ‘ defeat.
” Well, I know he’s going through his mind”, Weiner said. ” I’m sure he thinks to himself: I could have won”.

Weiner acknowledged that Biden was in a tough position and was trailing Trump in the elections.
” He was losing ground, but the party made the right decision, and I think the group may have done worse”, Weiner said.
