National Border Patrol Council President Paul Perez warned Democratic leaders against opposing the approaching Trump administration’s designed persecution, as President-elect Donald Trump is hiring” the best legal heads” who would maintain effects.

Some state officials, including Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA ), have been working in the wake of the 2024 election to deter the incoming administration’s deportations of illegal immigrants, prompting Trump “border czar” Tom Homan to warn them to “get out of the way”. Perez argued that in response to the authorities and shelter places ‘ plans to challenge the Trump administration, that “federal laws must prevail over state law.”

On Fox News ‘ America Reports, which was hosted by Griff Jenkins and Julie Banderas, Perez said,” Anyone who gets in the way is going to be dealt with, and so they need to take this incoming administration at its word. They are going to have some of the best legal minds working in the Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security.” ” So it’s not something that they’re taking quietly. They’re going to do the job”.

Perez also raised concerns about the spread of the Colombian group Tren de Aragua, which has begun to reach New York City. The union claimed that Border Patrol agents want to be able to perform their jobs but are prohibited by the Biden administration, along with other firms meant to address these issues.

When asked about Mexico developing an app that would let Latino citizens alert their loved ones if border patrol agents had detained them, Perez scoffed at the idea and argued that it was irrelevant. He even predicted that Mexico does eventually “fall in range” with Trump’s arrests, much like his prediction for shelter cities.

Because President Trump wants to protect this country, Perez said,” It won’t deter us, it won’t stop us from being effective at securing the border.”

Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ ) made the suggestion that the Trump administration withhold funding from sanctuary cities immediately after Perez ‘ warning to sanctuary cities. Biggs argued that “money conversations” and is” the No. 1 utilize place” accessible for the U. S. authorities to use.

When asked about the Tren de Aragua group, New York City Police Department officers said they were “really emerging crime patterns,” adding that the office has tried to deal with this first on to stop any “entrenchment” by the group. Elizabeth Weiner, the NYPD deputy director for intelligence and terrorism, also said these violence designs are” not specific” to New Year’s Eve or Times Square, as the area is gearing up for its enormous annual celebration Tuesday evening.
