An Iraqi few was charged with servitude, torture, and war crimes on Monday by a German federal prosecutor.
Twana HS and Asia RA, both of whom had been detained in Bavaria in April, were accused of abducting two younger Yazidi girls and allegedly abusing them, according to AP.
The accused were associated with the Islamic State group in Iraq and Syria between October 2015 and December 2017. According to prosecution, they held a 5-year-old Yazidi female prisoner from late 2015, and afterward imprisoned a 12-year-old from October 2017.
The girl facilitated these functions by setting up the room and covering one victim with makeup, according to the trial, while the man committed sexual assaults on both girls repeatedly.
The subjects were denied the opportunity to practice their faith and had experienced significant physical abuse. Under pressure, they were forced to perform home chores and provide care.
According to prosecutors, certain incidents included the gentleman striking the older woman with a broom, whilst the girl burnt the younger woman’s hand with warm water. As punishment, both kids were forced to stand on one foot for thirty days.
Before leaving Syria in November 2017, the defendants transferred the girls ‘ prison to another IS users.
” All of this served the group’s goal to kill the Yazidi religion”, the statement said.
