A former female prisoner in a women’s jail in Washington state promises that her hulking transgender flatmate frequently sexually assaulted her after the latter was moved to the hospital following a change in gender identity. Mozzy Clark has filed a federal lawsuit against the state’s Department of Corrections, alleging that she was placed in a battery with a 6-foot-4 convicted child molester who subjected her to decades of trolling, risks, sexual abuse, and abuse.
Christopher Scott Williams, the cellmate, was initially found guilty of sexually assaulting a young girl and was currently serving an extra word for domestic abuse. Williams, who presently identifies as a trans woman, petitioned to be recognised as feminine and was eventually transferred to a women’s prison. According to the lawsuit, when Williams was placed in the same body as Clark, her life became” a dwelling problem”.
Williams is a sexual resident of the Washington Corrections Center for Women, according to records from the state’s Department of Corrections.
Challenges and Abuse claims
The petition outlines a series of complaints, claiming Williams often threatened to murder Clark, leered at her in the rain, and repeatedly demanded intercourse. Williams allegedly used a handmade sex toys to harass Clark on one situation. ” In their body, Ms Clark was on the bottom bunk. Mr. Williams had erection while touching himself while hovering menacingly over Ms. Clark’s bedroom. According to the lawsuit, he had even gesture toward it and express his desires to Ms. Clark, gesturing toward it, and doing so. Additionally, the lawsuit claims that one day when Clark awoke, Williams was found with an finger under her blanket and sat on the floor next to her bed.
Lack of Protection from Prison Authorities
Clark claims that much was done to protect her when she complained to prison employees about the maltreatment. Although Williams was finally relocated to a different body, it is claimed that the abuse persisted. Williams allegedly followed Clark into the bathroom, made sexist remarks from a nearby barn, and sought out her. According to the lawsuit,” He even started making threats to her with assault if she complained about him once more.” Clark is seeking damages for “extreme psychological grief, shame, harassment, humiliation, anger, shame, and fear”.
Broader Issues at the Center
Not just the criminal who worries about Williams, Clark is. Another slave described unacceptable and obscene behavior by Williams and other transgender prisoners at the facility in August. ” When people are in the rain, these people are simply standing it. They don’t need to have on their tiptoes—they glance over and see everything. Individuals feel so uncomfortable. You feel like you’ve been violated”, an unknown prisoner stated. At least 11 trans prisoners were reportedly a part of the facility’s records at the time.
