Jimmy Carter’s family’s actions marked his final months, who was more than willing to move him out in front of the cams in a deteriorating condition and inform the media that he was eagerly awaiting the opportunity to vote for Kamala Harris before he passed away.  ,

The press is also attempting to use Carter’s death, with one store reporting that Carter “got the last joke against Donald Trump” by dying there.
Actually? Wasn’t Jimmy Carter reportedly hoping to live long enough to support Kamala Harris before claiming victory by sweeping the battleground state and winning the popular vote at the national level?
” As the 39th president of the United States, Carter is entitled to an official state funeral, which will include ceremonies in Atlanta, Washington D. C., and his final resting place in Plains”, explains The List. ” The situations usually last for 7 to 10 weeks, and are carried out by the Department of Defense, as ordered by President Joe Biden. The demand is distributed through various programs, with the responsibilities of planning the three ceremonial getting with the Joint Task Force National Capital Region.

Of course, organizing all of this takes more than a minute, which means Carter and Trump will need to discuss the spotlight in January 2025. It’s possible that at least one of Carter’s standard monuments will overshadow his official win on January 6 and that the election results will be recognized with the counting of electoral vote by Congress during that fortnight. Beyond that, there will be one consistent and clear warning of Carter’s presence as Trump actually becomes president, and it has to do with one of his favourite picture backgrounds: the British flag.

The article continues,” While there are good chances that former president Jimmy Carter will be laid to rest well before inauguration day on January 20, there will be one very obvious reminder to draw attention away from Donald J. Trump — a half-staff flag.”
That’s a stretch.
The article’s author describes the fact that “every American flag that appears in the background of the 47th president’s big day will most likely be raised only halfway up the pole.”
What bothers me about this is how the left continues to view Carter as a political prop even after his death. We were told that he was clinging to life just to vote for Kamala Harris in his final months because he was obviously too frail to be deeply invested in the election. Even now that Carter has passed away, the media still seems to have no interest in describing him as anything other than a political tool. The left appears to be incapable of acknowledging his passing without examining it in terms of politics.  ,

Every photo op that includes an American flag will serve as a permanent reminder that Trump had to share his day with another president, according to the article’s literal gloat that “while Trump is taking his oath on the West Lawn of the Capitol, strolling down Pennsylvania Avenue, and celebrating at an Inauguration Ball, every photo op that includes an American flag will be…
Is that what people will actually believe? Or, in reality, will Trump’s inauguration overshadow the mourning period for Carter?
