Americans who have witnessed Donald Trump’s political job are not strangers to propaganda from the past. The list of deceptive information ops from left-wing campaigners masquerading as reporters is very longer. From the Russia collusion ruse to the “very good people” lay in Charlottesville.
These Democrat Party yes-men show no signs of stopping, despite Americans ‘ waning confidence in their ability to review information truthfully and exactly.
Like centuries before it, 2024 saw no lack of media tomfoolery. America’s propaganda press maintained its ethically bankrupt reputation, whether it was their coverage of the 2024 presidential campaign or their involvement in the Democrats ‘ war on the Supreme Court.
Here are the biggest lies and propaganda campaigns carried out by legacy media hacktivists this month, in no specific order.
1. Disaster
Taking Trump’s comment out of perspective is one of tradition media’s favorite pastimes — and March’s “bloodbath” nontroversy was no exception.
Speaking to rallygoers in Ohio, the past and soon-to-be leader warned that the U. S. car industry would experience an economic “bloodbath” if Democrats won the White House in 2024. The former president’s comments were immediately refrained by media acolytes, who twisted them to make it seem as though Trump was threatening a precise disaster if he lost his election bid.
Left-wing sources such as NBC News, CBS News, The New York Times, and some ran articles using this deceptive frame.
” Trump says state heads’ bloodbath’ if Trump wins in November”, a March 16 Politico article reads.
2. War on SCOTUS
The New York Times took its panic to a whole new level than the internet did last year when Democrat mouth ProPublica slammed Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito for their Democrat stain problems.
The shop made up a discussion over an upside-down British flag flown at Alito and his wife’s Virginia property in May, which the channel claimed was a symbol adopted by” some”” Stop the Steal” protest on January 6, 2021. Justice Alito claimed that he “had no presence” in the flag’s flying, but that his wife had put it up in protest of a friend’s profane yard signs.
Despite claims of ethics violations from so-called “experts”, The Federalist’s Legal Correspondent Margot Cleveland— who researched judicial ethics rules as a law clerk for years— noted that the Gray Lady’s “effort to smear Justice Alito as unethical based on the flag incident cannot withstand scrutiny” and” ]t ] he calls for Alito to recuse from]Jan. 6-related ] cases have no basis in sanity”.
America’s “newspaper of report” wasn’t done attempting to destroy Alito, yet. The Times ran a second strike part against the justice a few days later for an” Appeal to Heaven” symbol that was flown at one of his properties. The Times attempted to stir up controversy over the symbol by claiming it represents” a drive to copy British government in Christian words” despite being well-known and derived from the Revolutionary War.
3. Hiding Biden’s Mental Decline
Look no further than their focused effort to conceal Joe Biden’s mental collapse if you’re looking for an example of how the internet interferes with our elections.
Media hacktivists adopted the White House’s false claim that the video were” low scams” when video showcasing Biden’s dementia went viral over the summer. The media just began to realize they could no longer conceal this huge scandal from the general public after the president’s devastating, fabricated debate performance against Trump.
Of course, their subsequent confirmation of Biden’s faltering heath was undoubtedly related to their concerns that it might hurt Democrats ‘ chances of winning the White House in November.
4. Project 2025
It didn’t take long for the media to make The Heritage Foundation’s” Project 2025″ their go-to composite during the 2024 plan.
The plan, which was created to serve as a traditional strategy for the incoming Trump administration, was published in parabolic reports and delivered Democrat remarks to confound voters into thinking it would end the nation as we know it if Trump were to win. Trump has actually stated on numerous occasions that he was not associated with Project 2025, and the proposal recommends policies that conservatives have long supported.
5. What’s a Border Czar?
The media stepped up in response to the vice president’s myriad failures, including her role as “border czar,” after Democrat oligarchs orchestrated a silent coup to install her on the 2024 ticket.
Left-wing journos claimed Biden never tapped her to oversee the invasion at the U.S. Mexico border in order to hide Harris ‘ incompetence from voters. Left-wing publications like Axios went so far as to claim that Harris “never actually had” the “border czar” moniker despite the outlet repeatedly referring to her as such in previous articles.
6. Trump’s Arlington Cemetery Visit
Anti-truth NPR ran an anonymously sourced hit piece criticizing the former president for — wait for it— visiting Arlington National Cemetery at the request of Gold Star families, blatantly trying to tarnish Trump ahead of the November election.
The smear campaign aimed to stoke a row by Trump’s team filming and documenting photos and videos of the former president’s visit to the families of those killed in Biden’s disastrous 2021 withdrawal from Afghanistan. The media hoax didn’t sit well with the Gold Star families, who blasted Kamala Harris, Democrats, and, by extension, their corporate press allies for attempting to politicize the event.
7. Show Me the Garbage!
After Biden referred to the tens of millions of Americans who support Trump as “garbage,” legacy media propagandists had their hands full in the final days of the 2024 election.
Amid fears that the president’s remarks could hurt Harris ‘ electoral prospects, the “democracy dies in darkness” crowd rushed to cover up the scandal. While Politico’s Johnathan Lemire employed the media’s classic” Republicans pounce”! framing, NPR’s David Folkenflik decided to play doctor and mind reader for a day, telling his X followers he “listened to]Biden’s comments ] several times” and came away with the conclusion that the president ‘s , supposed ,” stutter” problem is to blame.
8. Trump’s Liz Cheney Comments
The manipulation of Trump’s remarks about Liz Cheney was one of the biggest media-driven hoaxes this year.
While speaking at an event days before the Nov. 5 election, Trump critiqued Cheney’s obsession with overseas military adventurism. The former president referred to Cheney as a “radical war hawk” and defended the troops who were forced to fight in never-ending conflicts by neocons like Cheney would never actually engage in.
” Let’s put her with a rifle, standing there with nine barrels shooting at her, okay? Let’s see how she feels about it when she is trained to use weapons on her face. You know, they’re all war hawks when they’re sitting in Washington in a nice building saying,’ Gee, let’s send 10, 000 troops right into the mouth of the enemy,'” Trump , said.
In the wake of Biden’s “garbage” smear, the media rushed to distort Trump’s comments to make it appear as if he was calling for Cheney to be executed via firing squad. The disinformation operation was a clear attempt to discredit Trump in order to undermine his chances of winning and improve Harris ‘ chances.
9. What Assassination Attempts?
There’s a good chance you wouldn’t know much about the two attempted assassinations against Trump this year if you only watched and read legacy media.
Left-wing propagandists at NBC News and The Washington Post downplayed the attempted murder as nothing more than an “incident” after a long-standing Democrat donor allegedly attempted to kill the incoming president on his Palm Beach golf course in September. Outlets like Time magazine whitewashed the suspect’s history of donating to Democrats, characterizing him in a tweet as a “58-year-old with unclear political ideology”.

Such dishonest propaganda isn’t surprising, however. It’s the same playbook that these media snoopers used when” covering” the first assassination attempt against Trump in July, who spent years leading an “assassination prep” campaign with horrific smears and lies directed at Trump.
10. The Atlantic’s Hitler Hysteria
In a last-ditch bid to save Kamala Harris ‘ sluggish presidential campaign, Jeffrey Goldberg, the author of the debunked 2020″ suckers” and losers” smear,” published an anonymously sourced October hit piece claiming Trump claimed he wanted” the kind of generals that Hitler had. Additionally, it claimed that Trump was upset about paying for an Army soldier’s funeral services.

To the media, it didn’t matter that the soldier’s sister blasted Goldberg for his anti-Trump fabrications, or that numerous former Trump administration officials debunked the bogus claims. Reproducing The Atlantic’s slanderous hatchet job, which they did without any questions asked, was what was important.
