In a targeted drone strike, the Israel Defense Forces ( IDF) confirmed on Tuesday that senior Hamas commander Abd al-Hadi Sabah had been eliminated. Sabah, a Nukhba Platoon Commander in Hamas ‘ American Khan Yunis Battalion, was apparently instrumental in orchestrating the October 7, 2023, assault on Kibbutz Nir Oz, which resulted in widespread deaths.
The attack that claimed Sabah’s life was carried out in southwestern Gaza’s Khan Yunis region, according to an established Army speech.

The operation, coordinated with Israel’s Security Agency ( ISA ), targeted Sabah based on precise intelligence.
In a statement shared on X, the IDF referred to Sabah as one of the important numbers responsible for the killing of Kibbutz Nir Oz during the “murderous October 7 Massacre.” Sabah is also accused of starting numerous attacks against Army personnel throughout the issue.
” Abd al-Hadi Sabah, who operated from a house in the Humanitarian Area in Khan Yunis, was one of the rulers of the invasion into Kibbutz Nir Oz during the October 7 Massacre”, the IDF’s post stated. ” All of the terrorists who took part in the October 7 murder will continue to be targeted by the IDF and ISA.”
The Army also revealed that its forces, in cooperation with the Shin Bet ( Israel’s General Security Service ), just eliminated 14 Hamas insurgents, six of whom were directly involved in the October 7 attack. These businesses were executed under the control of the IDF’s 162nd” Steel” Division, which has been constantly engaged in Gaza’s Jabalia and Beit Lahia areas.
