In a large shooting outside the Amazura bar in Queens, New York, on Wednesday, law enforcement officials confirmed that 10 people were hurt. The New York Police Department has made a public statement that the affair was hardly a “terrorist attack.”
At around 11:15 p.m. on Wednesday in the Jamaican area of Queens, a group of about 15 people, between the ages of 16 and 20, were waiting outside the Amazura bar as they approached four males.
Following the shooting incident on Wednesday night, Chief of Patrol Philip Rivera stated in a media conference that “four boys were walking eastward on 91st Ave. onto 144th Place toward the venue.” The party standing outside the event storage then opened fire on three to four men, striking more than 30 people.

Rivera confirmed that four female subjects and six female patients were transported to local hospitals, were treated for non-life-threatening injury, and are expected to recover.
Law enforcement officials told Fox News that the man suspects allegedly fled the crime scene and allegedly escaped in a light-colored sedan with out-of-state permit sheets. Police from the New York Police Department informed Fox News that they are now looking for a black Infiniti sedan that was seen leaving the scene of the shooting.
While authorities have not yet determined a motive for Wednesday night’s firing, Rivera told writers,” This is not a criminal attack”.
Law enforcement officials are looking into whether the shooting incident may have been the result of group activity, according to NY Daily News. Rivera said,” That’s one of the strategies we’re pursuing but it’s too early to determine right now”.
” There’s zero tolerance for these foolish murders, these terrible acts of violence on our roads”, Rivera added. ” Those accountable for this crime may be detained and brought to justice”
