TUNIS: Twenty-seven workers, including women and children, died after two vessels capsized off northern Tunisia, with 83 people rescued, a civil military official told AFP on Thursday.
The freed and dying passengers, who were found off the Kerkennah Islands off northern Tunisia, were aiming to achieve Europe and were all from sub-Saharan African countries, said Zied Sdiri, mind of legal army in the town of Sfax.
