The fatal administration of Joe Biden is about to come to an end, and according to reports, White House staffers describe a melancholy disposition at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, where Biden spent his last weeks reflecting on what could have been and likely wondering what different monsters he can forgive.

While Biden has lately expressed regret for dropping out and claims to have won, the Wall Street Journal reports that this opinion is not widely held in the White House or among the Democrat establishment, where it is believed that if Biden had remained the nominee, the group may have suffered a much larger political defeat and lost even more parliamentary seats.
The report also reveals that” White House advisers, some who’ve been on work searches since first November, described the work environment in recent days with words like’ draining’ and ‘ sad.'”
Entrepreneur and Democrat donor Joe Kiani, a close friend of Biden, told the Journal that “if he ran, he really thought he was going to win” . ,
Kiani added,” By certainly running, he was worried Trump would get. He simply didn’t want to succeed at any cost”.
According to the review, Biden’s confidence in his ability to beat Donald Trump isn’t intended as a criticism of Kamala Harris’s plan but stems from his belief that, having beaten Trump again, he could do it once. Biden’s fantasy is only eclipsed by those of Harris’s allies, who think Biden’s failure to drop out sooner cost her the election.

Harris ‘ aides privately claim that a few more weeks on the campaign trail could have had a significant impact on the outcome rather than directly blaming Biden’s delay in dropping out of the race over the summer.
That’s a tough sell given the lopsided outcome. Trump won every battleground state and received more than two million votes, not just the Electoral College.  ,
Biden is putting his stamp on a presidential library in Delaware as he prepares to take office. I have no idea how contentious death sentence substitutions for murders and child rapists fit into that category, but according to the report, Biden has many regrets, including his choice to appoint Merrick Garland as attorney general. Biden believes that Garland didn’t target Trump more aggressively, thinking that if he had, he could have stopped Trump’s return to the White House with more aggressive prosecutions
Strangely, no one on the left has voiced their disapproval of Biden’s blatant desire to have used the justice system against his political rival.

Despite the gloom, Biden insists on maintaining a united front. He has praised Harris ‘ campaign efforts and continues to work with her. The White House maintains that both Biden and Harris remain focused on delivering results for American families, yada, yada, yada. I’ll wait until the true story of Joe and Kamala’s animosity is revealed in the tell-all books.
For all the talk of legacy, Biden’s final chapter reads more like a cautionary tale than a triumphant conclusion. His decades-long career in politics is ending not with a bang, but with a long, drawn-out whimper — leaving behind a party divided and depressed.
