According to reports citing law enforcement sources who confirmed that both of them served at the same military base, 37-year-old Matthew Livelsberger had a relationship with Shamsud Din Jabbar, the New Orleans perpetrator. Whether the two terrorist strikes had any connections is unknown at this time.
Who was Matthew Livelsberger?
A Tesla computer truck exploded in Las Vegas as New Orleans was reeling from the terrorist attack on New Year’s Day. The driver, identified as a previous Army veteran of Colorado Springs, Matthew Livelsberger, died in the blast. Although KOAA and KTNV have confirmed Livelsberger’s identity, the office has not officially named him as the bomb. Among his 19 years of service, Livelsberger spent 18 with Unique Forces. He used the Turo app to rent a digital vehicle.
The vehicle had a tumble of burnt fireworks, mortars, canisters and additional incendiary devices at the back. How the bombs were detonated is not yet known.
Who was Shamsud Din Jabbar?
At least 15 people were killed when Shamsud Din Jabbar, a New Orleans intruder, plowed his vehicle through a New Year’s Eve masses on prominent Whiskey Street. After the murder, he fired at the police officers and died in the short fight. He likewise rented a vehicle from Turo.
Jabbar spent about eight times in the US Army before going to Afghanistan in February 2010. After leaving active work in January 2015, he made the transition to the Army Reserve, where he became a staff sergeant in July 2020.
Aside from their Turo relationship, both of them formerly served at the same military center, reports confirmed.
Both the assaults looked purposeful, though in the cybertruck blast, Livelsberger is the only victim. Law enforcement officials attributed Elon Mysk’s Tesla to the fact that the tractor accounted for the majority of the injury.

It’s never known whether the two instances were related or whether Livelsberger and Jabbar co-operated.
According to the FBI, New Orleans perpetrator Jabbar undoubtedly did not act alone. His coworkers have not yet been discovered.
