The population over the age of 60 and above amounted to 11.9 percent in 2019, and it is projected to increase to over 25 % by 2050.
A suggested population law includes provisions to promote fertility and provide assistance for employers with younger children. Additionally, the policy contemplates removing the three or more child penalty.
In its 10th treatment in the first year of 2019, the National Assembly will vote on this document law, which will be decided by the next year’s elections.
