Donald Trump, the president-elect, made it known that he wouldn’t ban TikTok because of his software popularity.
The former president expressing support for the measure while Trump’s first leadership struggled with a TikTok ban due to concerns about national security. Since then, his location has stymied, with a Friday Truth Social post suggesting that he wouldn’t outlaw it.
” Why would I want to get rid of TikTok”? Trump stated, with an accompanying visual illustrating his acceptance on the application.
The visual showed that Trump and his substitute accounts garnered 3.8 billion views, significantly outnumbering his 2024 company, Vice President Kamala Harris, who garnered only 1.3 billion views.
According to the visual, Trump’s substitute account, @teamtrump, garnered an average of over eight days more opinions per article on TikTok than Instagram. On TikTok, Trump’s private account received five times as many views as his personal account.
The #trump received 36 billion opinions, while the regular blog on Trump’s accounts on TikTok received 24 million opinions.
Pop singer Taylor Swift received only 251 million perspectives, and Beyonce 131 million.
Trump just requested an appeal to the Supreme Court to postpone a law that would essentially outlaw TikTok with a date of Jan. 19. Trump’s nomination for solicitor general, John Sauer, said the date should be pushed up so the new leader could have an insight.

” President Trump only possesses the complete dealmaking experience, the electoral authority, and the political will to negotiate a solution to save the platform while addressing the issues of regional security,” he wrote.
The president-elect has faced unique opposition from within the GOP over the walk.
