President-elect Donald Trump on Friday reacted to Joe Biden‘s request to lower the colors on half of the team for 30 days in honor of former leader Jimmy Carter, who passed away at the age of 100. He claimed just Democrats were giddy because Donald Trump‘s inauguration would be covered by this one-month mourning phase.
Liberals don’t like the country, Trump claimed, so they’re happy about it. Often, nobody wants to see the symbol in half-mast during the opening of a leader.
The Democrats are all “giddy” about our beautiful American Flag possibly being at “half tower” during my Opening. They think it’s so great, and are so content about it because, in reality, they don’t like our Country, they just think about themselves. Look at what they have done to our once-great America over the past four decades. It’s a complete mess! Colors must be flown at half-staff for 30 weeks following the death of a sitting or previous president, according to the US flag script.
Despite earlier mocking Carter, Donald Trump paid a nice homage to him. He claimed that Carter’s election as president came at a crucial time for our nation and that he had done everything to strengthen everyone in the country. For that, we all owe him a debt of gratitude.”
But, Trump mocked Carter on his 100th birthday in October while taking a swipe at Biden. At the time, he called Biden the” worst “president in U. S. background and said that Carter” is the happiest guy because Jimmy Carter is considered a beautiful president in assessment.”
On January 9, Carter’s state death may be held.
Up until Tuesday, January 28, half-staff will be flown in honor of Carter, which may mean they will be raised during Trump’s opening and all the way up until the first week of his second term.
However, Trump may get colors to be raised up to full-staff after taking office, in contrast to the 30-day law that allows him to lower them to half-staff for the demise of a sitting or former president.
