Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the president of Ukraine, stated on Thursday that Donald Trump‘s power and “unpredictability” had put an end to the country’s conflict with Russia. He, nevertheless, added that the three-year issue could not be put to an end in just a moment, as claimed by the US President-elect many times.
” The popular ‘ stage of the war you end very fast, if Trump is powerful in his place”, Zelenskyy said.
” I believe ( Trump ) is strong and unpredictable. I would very much like President Trump’s volatility to be directed mainly toward the Russian Federation”, he added.
The urgency of when and how Europe’s largest discord since World War II may end has grown as the battle moves closer to its third year next month.
Ukraine, which is heavily dependent on its Western friends for support and faces a shortage of workers on the front lines, appears unpleasant with the war’s trajectory.
On Ukraine becoming a Nato part, Zelenskyy said,” But I raised an issue, saying we didn’t learn what particular nations will add this action, and whether the US will be it”.
” The deployment of European troops ( to keep the peace in Ukraine ) should not rule out Ukraine’s future in Nato”, he said.
The leader of Ukraine has a clear goal of allowing Ukraine to meet NATO. The 32 member countries of the alliance have stated that Ukraine will ultimately join them, but they have also stated that this will only occur when the conflict has ended.
Russia already controls about one-fifth of Ukraine and used weaknesses in its threats last year to make slow but steady improvements in the eastern provinces despite considerable loss in troops and products.
