On Saturday, President Biden announced nineteen consumers of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the world’s highest civilian honor. This prestigious prize is meant to identify individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the growth, values, or safety of the United States, advanced world peace, or achieved extraordinary accomplishments in societal, people, or personal endeavors.

” President Biden believes excellent leaders keep the faith, give people a good picture, and put morality above all else”, the White House said in a speech. These 19 people have accomplished great things in both the United States and the universe. They are excellent leaders because they are trustworthy individuals who have made incredible efforts to their nation and the world.
Among those who were given the award were a restaurant named José Andrés, Hillary Clinton, clothing custom Ralph Lauren, Bill Nye the Science Guy, George Soros, and Vogue editor Anna Wintour. There are others on the list who may truly deserve the difference, and others who don’t, but what really stands out to me is who isn’t on the checklist: Kamala Harris.
Before I left company, I noted on Friday that it wouldn’t surprise me if Biden gave Kamala the Presidential Medal of Freedom as a consolation prize. After all, Barack Obama did the same in 2017 by recognizing Biden with Distinction and literally referring to him as” the best vice president America has ever had” during the ceremony.

Before explaining to Joe that he was awarding him the medal” for your trust in other Americans, for your love of country, and for your lifetime of service that will withstand through the years,” Obama said,” To hear Joe Biden is is to know like without pretense, services without self-regard and to live life fully.”

Biden, who was obviously emotional during the conversation and wiped again tears as he accepted the prize, praised Mr. Obama as a person of “integrity” and “decency”. More than a few visitors wept as well.
” I may say that I was a part of the journey of a remarkable man who made outstanding contributions to this nation,” he said.
As Biden’s chest was wrapped in the Medal of Freedom, a pat on the arms and a warm embrace were all that could be heard.
” I don’t need this, but I know it came from the President’s spirit”, Biden said.
Biden attributed Mr. Obama’s commitment to confidence him with crucial duties, which is unusual for leaders to do in the same way as Mr. Obama did.
” Every one thing you’ve asked me to do, Mr. President, you have trusted me to do”, he said. ” And that is a amazing thing”.
Oh, give me a tear. It is well known that Barack Obama was the one who persuaded Joe Biden to run for president because Hillary was in charge. Biden’s Presidential Medal of Freedom was, without a doubt, a consolation prize for his vice chairman, who was sidelined by Obama so Hillary had run … and ultimately lose to Donald Trump.

But, why didn’t Joe Biden prize Kamala with a Presidential Medal of Freedom? Is it possible he’s waiting for a particular time, as Obama did? Maybe. But, to me, this appears to be more of an attack. It seems appropriate for Biden to honor Kamala, the second woman-of-color vice president in history, the award because he has never been one to shy away from asking people for his government or the judiciary based on diversity checks.  ,

Biden definitely has some time to do it before he leaves the office, but someone tells me he didn’t. You can tell if he doesn’t honor Kamala the prize before leaving office because there is obviously a lot of bad blood between the Overarching and Kamala.
