Rapper OG 2 LOW accidentally shoots himself during live podcast, sparks gun safety debate
Rapper 2 Low unintentionally starts firing his weapons while reaching his hands in his wallet during an interview, but the show is over.

Rapper OG 2 LOW was the subject of a disturbing incident during a life broadcast of the” 1 on 1 W/ Mike D” audio. The singer, known for his honest story, unintentionally shot himself while discussing his profession and plans for the show, which shocked and worried the listeners and the podcast crew.
Surprisingly, the moment came when OG 2 LOW was stumbling through the middle of an interesting story when a hushed “pop” interrupted his history. When it became apparent that the noise was the result of a weapon unintentionally exploding in the band’s pocket, audiences were left stunned. The revolver discharged, injuring OG 2 LOW in the knee. The wound, though no lethal, caused a shake, and live-streamed images of the event quickly spread across social media platforms.
    Immediate emotions
” Who got shot”? Before confirming that OG 2 LOW was the only one who was hurt, number Mike D asked quickly and his words tinged with horror. Despite the shock, the musician appeared call and composed, more assuring fans that the injury was not serious. The event, however, left the room in an eerie solitude before the life saving resumed.
Followers and online commentators quickly made adages about the notorious Plaxico Burress affair from 2008 that former NFL player Plaxico Burress was involved in. Unknowingly, the wide receiver shot himself in the thigh in a club, stoking the gun safety debate. With OG 2 LO W’s accident unfolding on a public system, the parallels were hard to ignore.
    Social media panic
Shortly afterward, the exist footage became popular and was shared on social media platforms like Twitter and Instagram. Some users expressed relief that the wound wasn’t worse while another criticized the singer for carrying a crossbow during an interview. ” How does that even occur”? one Twitter user commented. ” This ain’t the first time a celeb shot themselves, but it’s the most shocking”.
Following the incident, there was a wave of thoughts on gun safety. Some advocated for stricter laws governing the use of weapons in open spaces, while others expressed concern about the potential dangers of uneducated gun owners.
    Comments from the radio
Fans were reassured by OG 2 LOW and Mike D that everyone was healthy after the accident. ” Right then, man, we’re just being grateful that everyone is safe, people is good”, OG 2 LOW said, reflecting on the conflict that had just unfolded.
Mike D lightened the mood by adding,” We had to get a little break. We had a roll, a minute, you know what I’m saying? It’s always happened on’ 1 on 1 with Mike D.’ But now, with my nephew Tulo, every day we get up, we make story. So, I guess we merely made history, con ‘all”.
Despite the jovial notes, the affair serves as a somber warning of the value of gun safety.
    Training in gun security
Discussions about responsible gun rights and security, especially in public settings, have resurfaced since the killing. While OG 2 LO W’s injury was minor, similar incidents have had far more serious consequences. In Burress’s event, the sudden release of his weapons resulted in a jail sentence and public attention. Eventually, Burress became an advocate for gun health, stressing the importance of proper licence and education.
Specialists argue that greater commitment to weapons safety regulations is crucial, particularly for high-profile individuals. Public characters, often seen as part types, are under heightened investigation regarding their actions and behavior, including their management of firearms.
