President-elect Donald Trump criticized President Joe Biden for awarding the individuals ‘ award to former representatives Bennie Thompson and Liz Cheney, who led the Congressional research into the January 6 Capitol riot. He claimed that the two legislators “destroyed and deleted” all the data while conducting the mob investigation and that they had “fake” the medals.
The service at the White House recognized Cheney, the former Republican congressman from Wyoming, for her congressional company and position on the House committee investigating the January 6 Capitol assault, and Thompson, a Democratic member from Mississippi, for his job as the agency’s chair.

Trump also commented on Cheney’s vote damage, saying,” She has the distinction of losing her Parliamentary seat by the largest percentage in Record”! and claimed,” Biden rewarded her solely because she hated’ TRUMP.'” He more criticized Cheney, calling her a” Warmonger of small intelligence” and alleging” all she wants to do is remove citizens”.

In his accusations of Cheney and Thompson, Trump also referred to them as” goons,” and also addressed former official Adam Kinzinger. He even attributed security issues to former house speaker Nancy Pelosi on January 6.

Liz Cheney and Bennie Thompson, who led the legislative research into the January 6 Capitol riot, were given the National Citizens Medal on Thursday by Biden.
The ceremony took place in the White House’s East Room. Other recipients included advocates for wedding justice, a pioneer in battle medicine, and some former lawmakers. Biden also prematurely honored four people.

The second-highest human award in the United States is the National Citizens Medal. It recognizes individuals who have rendered outstanding support to their region or their own people.
Colonel Richard Rescorla received the president’s people prize in 2019 in the form of a previous award from Trump. During his administration, he also gave the medal of freedom to characters like Rush Limbaugh and Miriam Adelson.
