The Muhammad Yunus-led interim government on Sunday ended the program, which is expected to strengthen ties between the two neighbors since the Sheikh Hasina government fell in August of last year. The Bangladesh rules government also issued a warning on the Supreme Court’s instructions to train 50 judicial officials in India.
According to the now-cancelled alert, the Indian government was required to cover all costs for the judges ‘ education at the National Judicial Academy and the State Judicial Academy in Bhopal from February 10 to February 20.
The rules, justice, and political affairs ministry said in its most recent notification on Sunday that the Supreme Court reissued instructions for the training of judges in India, which resulted in the cancellation of the earlier permission for them to attend the training program in Bhopal.
For the training program, officers of equal rank have been chosen as assistant judges, top assistant judges, combined district and sessions judges, more district and sessions judges, district and sessions judges, and officers of equivalent rank.
India and Bangladesh have strained relations, with New Delhi raising concerns over a number of strikes against Hindus and various minority in Bangladesh.
