North Korea launched at least one ballistic missile into the East Sea on Monday, January 6, 2025, according to South Korea’s military. This continues North Korea’s increased weapons testing.
The launch was confirmed by the North Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff, but they did not immediately give information about the number of missiles or their range of launch.
During the US Secretary of State’s trip to Seoul, Antony Blinken made this announcement. He is arranging discussions about the North Korean nuclear danger with South Korean leaders.
