Despite concerns about President-elect Donald Trump investigating him and various members of the House Jan. 6 commission, former Republican Rep. Adam Kinzinger declared on Monday that he does not need a reprimand from President Joe Biden.
Anderson Cooper, a host of CNN, inquired about Kinzinger’s desire for pardonation before a Trump administration.
” If President Trump problem clemency for Jan. 6 council members, including yourself”? Anderson asked.
Cooper: Should President Biden grant clemency to the council members on January 6, including you?
Kinzinger: No. I don’t want it because you can’t hide the truth until you receive a reprimand. twitter.com/1JCEV1Ryyh

” No, I don’t want it”, Kinzinger responded. ” Because Donald Trump has evidently said he’s gonna go after everybody. And it’s not gonna be for the Jan. 6 research. What they’ll perform is destroy different studies. They’ll look into everything and start an investigation that’ll stop up coming to vain”.
” But the minute you take a forgive, it looks like you’re guilty of something”, he added. ” I’m not guilty of anything other than telling the British people the truth.”

” But, no, I don’t want it. And, you know, the bottom line is, I mean, if he wants to bring up Jan. 6 once — we’ve had all this talk about how we’re moving on from Jan. 6, and, believe me, Anderson, I would love to. My career has been defined by this for four decades, but if he wants to return, I will gladly discuss all the committee learned and did to embarrass him,” Kinzinger said.
