Former Rep.  , Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., debuted his new present and a fresh look , on the right-wing One America News Network Thursday night.
The MAGA member launched the eponymously named system with a visit from Rep.  , Thomas Massie, R-Ky.
But the OAN job wasn’t Gaetz’s first career choice to start 2025. The president-elect nominated the right-wing flame to function as the , U. S.  , attorney general in the following Trump presidency. After many ado, the 42-year-old Floridian withdrew his election forward of a , House Ethics Committee , record that , accused Gaetz of soliciting sex from an young woman. He denies any crime.
In 2021,  , Axios , reported that Gaetz , told confidants , he was considering leaving , Congress , to work for traditional exit Newsmax as accounts of his alleged mistakes arose. At the time, Newssmax claimed to Reuters that the system had” no plans” to get the troubled senator.
Some viewers , were surprised , by Gaetz’s look under the bright lights of OAN. One Democrat strategist commented on , the original president’s makeup. People wondered if he’d had some kind of plastic function done since leaving , Congress.
Gaetz gives OAN viewers a familiar face that he seems to prefer his humorous company of MAGA support. The Trump-supporting shop saw a rise in rankings during the president-elect’s second term in office and softly reported crime theories about scams in the 2020 vote when President , Joe Biden , defeated the Republican incumbent.
OAN , settled a lawsuit , with the , Smartmatic , voting technology firm in April over the show’s monitoring on their portion in the poll. OAN also , settled a defamation , match with Dominion Voting Systems in 2023.
