To learn the major internet tell the tale, Jan. 6, 2021, was the worst moment in our nation’s story. While there’s no denying that the invasion on the Capitol was an unlucky occurrence, the internet and the Biden administration’s reaction to it was even worse.

The 2021 incident is still fresh in the minds of liberals four years later as Congress gets to confirm another presidential vote. The NBC News liveblog about tomorrow’s vote certification contains numerous references to four years ago. One of those links is a ridiculous assertion that Rep. Mike Collins (R-Ga. ) made “false says” in a post on X on Monday morning.
Collins, who has a standing for funny comments on X, wrote:
On# ThisDay InHistory in 2021, thousands of peaceful grandmothers gathered in Washington, D. C., to take a self-guided, albeit unauthorized, tour of the U. S. Capitol building.  ,
President Trump held a rally earlier that day to peacefully protest the 2020 election’s documentation. During this time, some persons entered the Capitol, took pictures, and explored the tower before leaving.  ,
Since then, lots of quiet protestors have been hunted lower, arrested, held in solitary confinement, and treated unfairly. While jihadists and thousands of illegal immigrants continue to cross our nation’s edges, causing havoc in our areas, many hours and taxpayer dollars have been used to pursue honest grandmothers and raid President Trump’s residence.  ,
Fortunately, President Trump has announced that, on time one of his administration, he will grant clemency to violent defendants.

Doltish writers Rebecca Shabad and Ryan J. Reilly blab meekly about the falsehood that” Rep. Mike Collins, R-Ga., falsely claimed in a lengthy article on X this morning that “kunds of quiet mothers gathered Jan. 6, 2021, to taking a tour of the U.S. Capitol building and that people calmly explored the creating.” They go on and on about “false” and “untrue” says in Collins ‘ article, including some claims that aren’t misleading.
The thing is, it’s clear that Collins ‘ blog has a flippant and a little condescending tone, but what he says is a smart-aleck care of the day rather than a rest. Collins downplays the magnitude of the day and draws attention to the Biden administration’s treatment of Jan. 6 activists. The NBC writers don’t own sense of humor when it comes to overdramatizing the activities of four years ago today, despite the fact that it is not “false” as much as it is satirical.
Shabad and Reilly densely state that Collins ‘ office didn’t immediately respond to NBC News ‘ request for comment on his false claims. In other words, Collins ‘ department didn’t refer this drivel with a comment.

There’s more: Reilly, who has decamped to Bluesky to join his brother liberals, has stayed on Twitter only to bird his reserve about the” rebellion hunting” who set out to rabbit on Jan. 6 activists and make their lives a living hell.
We can’t totally downplay what happened four years ago, but bucking the left by not acting as if Jan. 6, 2021, was some dark day in the history of democracy isn’t “false claims” or “untrue” statements. The American people can’t trust the media in this regard.
