The Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office may be closed on Monday, according to a spokeswoman for Fox 8 who later explained to Fox 8 that the company may be closed in order for the “entire OPDA group” to become “addressed by pain and stress counselors in the wake of an unexpected tragedy.”
The official continued,” We extend our deep thanks to the judges of Criminal District Court and Juvenile Court, as well as the Orleans Public Defenders, for their amazing compassion and humanity during this difficult time, as there will be members of our team who will need time to manage and heal.”
According to Fox 8, the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office is scheduled to resume regular activities on Tuesday.
