In a new post on Facebook, the State Public Secretary Secretariat of Sonora , shared , pictures , of the alleged cartel sneaking pipe and noted that the hole was discovered as part of a joint investigation by the U. S. Customs and Border Protection and Sonora State Police.
The use of a drone enabled the construction of a tunnel between Sonora and Arizona in San Luis Rio Colorado in a joint operation between the Secretariat of Public Security and the Customs and Border Protection ( CBP ) said in the Facebook post. ” The Border Security Protocol was implemented and key systems areas were identified to improve security in the area,” said one author.
