In honor of the late former leader Jimmy Carter, The Perspective co-hosts examined President-elect Donald Trump‘s condemnation of American flags flying at half-staff during his inauguration.
Trump stated in a blog to Truth Social on Friday that” the Democrats are all’giddy’ about our beautiful American Flag possibly being at “half pole’ during my Inauguration.”
” They think it’s so great, and are so content about it because, in reality, they don’t like our Country, they simply think about themselves”, Trump added. Look at what they have done over the past four years to our after excellent nation. It’s a total mess!
” Anyone wants to see this, “he continued”, And no American can become happy about it. Let’s see how it plays up. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
ABC co-host Whoopi Goldberg responded on Monday’s exhibit by criticizing the president-elect.
” Sir? This was one of our president,” she said”. He didn’t intend to pass away and ruin your evening. That was not a option. This is what happened. So you have to really know, this is how living works. It ain’t usually about you, dear. It ain’t usually about you.
Let that symbol honor this man’s life by doing what it needs to accomplish. That’s my two percent”.
Co-host Sunny Hostin chimed in to reward Carter despite Trump’s “temper fits”. She praised the 39th leader as” a genuine visionary” and how he had installed solar panel on the White House to combat climate change.
Sara Haines, a fellow host, also praised Carter for leading” an extraordinary life of service” and characterized him as a “walking christian.”
During the show, Hostin even attacked Trump on the anniversary of Jan. 6, 2021, and compared the Capitol protests to the Holocaust.

” You don’t move on because Jan. 6 was an atrocity”, she said,” It was one of the worst moments in American history. And when you think about the moments in history, like World War II, the Holocaust, slavery, we need to always forget because history becomes tale”.
In honor of Carter, President Joe Biden announced that a time of national mourning would be observed on Thursday. Colors may be at half-staff for 30 weeks after Carter’s moment of death, which may clash with the Jan. 20 opening of Trump.
