Justin Trudeau announced his resignation on Monday, but it will take some time before he really leaves. Prorogue legislature was established until March 4, which means it will remain in conference but not dissolve. Trudeau says he will eventually leave the scene, at least a few months from now, after the Liberal Party chooses a new president. Donald Trump wasted no time in commémorating his exit by making yet another appeal for Canada to join the United States of America as the 51st position.

Early on Monday evening, Trump wrote on Truth Social:” Several people in Canada LOVE being the 51st State. The US cannot continue to suffer from the large trade deficits and subsidies that Canada needs to maintain its upright status. Justin Trudeau knew this, and resigned. There would be no taxes, fees, and they would be TALKLY Put from the risk of the Russian and Chinese Boats that are frequently encircling them if Canada merged with the United States. Up, what a great Country it would be!! ” ! ,
At this point, it’s hard to sustain the idea that Trump is only joking. Although it initially appeared to be a rhetorical jab, it quickly became so strong and stinging that it led to Trudeau’s downward spiral, which eventually led to his pending resignation, but it now appears as though he is critical. During their first post-election meet, Trump told Trudeau that” Canada has failed the U.S. frontier by allowing huge amounts of drugs and people across the border, including unlawful immigrants from over 70 distinct nations,” according to Fox News, which was published in early December.
The once-and-forgotten president “became more upbeat about the country’s trade deficit with Canada, which he estimated to be more than$ 100 billion,” and declared to his irate Canadian counterpart that he would levy a 25 % tariff on all Canadian goods on day one when he takes office.

Trudeau immediately played the left’s only card: victimhood. He claimed to Trump that he couldn’t impose a tariff because it would “kill the Canadian economy completely” To that, Trump shot back:” So your country can’t survive unless it’s ripping off the U. S. to the tune of$ 100 billion”? Trump” suggested to Trudeau that Canada become the 51st state, which irked the prime minister and others” Trump continued, insisting that even though he could still be governor of the 51st state,” that prime minister is a better title.”
Fox noted that” Trump delivered the message that he expected change by January 20,” even though sources claim the exchange generated a lot of laughter. Trudeau left with the knowledge that he wasn’t going to be successful in playing the same game as Obama or Biden. If neither of them had raised any questions about Canadian immigration in the first place regarding the flow of illegal immigrants and drugs into the country, it would have been toothless rhetoric that would have been forgotten once the meeting was over.
Trump has since asked Canada to become the 51st state several times before making a second call. His most comprehensive explanation of his justification was provided in his Monday Truth Social post. The United States can no longer afford the enormous Trade Deficits and Subsidies that Canada needs to stay afloat, according to the statement from the United States. Canada is a massive welfare case. If Canada is going to rely on the United States for its very survival, it needs to give up the pretense and join the Union.  ,

Trump’s words will be compared to Bad Orange Man’s ravings or a crude joke about Justin Trudeau that he insists on repeating over and over like your drunk uncle at Christmas dinner, but he has real considerations in mind. Whether by a formal merger or by means of economic hegemony, if the U. S. doesn’t get Canada, China likely will. If Canada and the U.S. were to merge, the United States would be much stronger against the threat from China and stop it from influencing its northern border.

The same rationale underlies his oft-repeated calls for the acquisition of Greenland, which he also repeated on Monday, saying:” I am hearing that the people of Greenland are’ MAGA. ‘ My son, Don Jr, and various representatives, will be traveling there to visit some of the most magnificent areas and sights. The United States and Canada and Greenland would bring an end to Chinese adventurism in both countries. There is a method to Trump’s apparent madness. He is, as always, working with an eye toward doing what he has promised to do: making America great again.
