Democrats have made an unnecessary attempt to make the Capitol riot a national drama comparable to 9/11 and/or the Pearl Harbor attack in the four times since. They even called it an insurrection ( it wasn’t ) and accused Trump of inciting it ( he didn’t ), with the intention of preventing Trump from seeking the presidency once more.

After unsuccessful attempts, Trump was reelected on November 5, making him the second Republican presidential candidate to receive a popular vote since George W. Bush. Oh my goodness, what a nice success it was. On Monday, Trump’s win over Kamala Harris was certified, and once again, Democrats proved they just didn’t allow their phony baloney tale go.
I won’t bother posting all the Liberals ‘ intellectual comments about the differences between January 6, 2025 and January 6, 2021, but I will show you this repulsive post from Sen. Chuck Schumer and some foolish “moment of worship” he and a few different January Sixth-copalians held on Monday.
We held a worship service now close to the door where protesters first allegedly broke into the Capitol on January 6, 2021.
We weep over the life lost in the attack.
We mourn the soldiers who died in the days, weeks, and weeks after the invasion.
We pray for their families, that … photograph. twitter.com/A8m6BJsPeB— Chuck Schumer ( @SenSchumer ) January 6, 2025
They’re actually trying tight, aren’t they?
The concern for them is that it’s not working. Despite all of their efforts, the common Democrats had hoped for didn’t leave the sustained political scar left behind. Despite the massive media policy, legislative sessions, and the public pushing of the tale that the mob was an “insurrection”, most Americans have moved on.
CNN’s chief information writer Harry Enten laid out the information dramatically: again in early 2021, a majority of voters—56 percent—believed Trump’s behavior on January 6 may preclude him from the president. Those who backed his removal from office also made up that group. But by 2023, the percentage dropped to 47 percentage, flipping the tale. As Enten put it,” This nine-point change was tremendous”, because it took the issue from a bulk approach to a majority one. Trump properly swayed the remaining 53 percent, successfully neutralizing the argument.

A deeper examination reveals a more evocative truth. 48 % of voters attributed the Capitol riot to Trump in January 2021. By December 2023, that amount had fallen to only 37 percent. Fewer Americans blamed Trump, fewer thought it made him disqualified to lead, and, probably most pertinently, far fewer cared enough to realize it. Just 5 % of Americans cited January 6 as their biggest recollection from Trump’s first name when asked about it. Among Republicans, it was a small 2 percent.
Please excuse me while I grin wildly for a moment.
Enten captured the sentiment perfectly:” Folks —fewer folks thought he was responsible … and more than that, as it went into the rear-view mirror, far fewer folks thought that it was their number one memory”. Just put, the government has moved on.
Bottom line: Fewer Americans criticized Donald Trump or believed he was significantly to blame for the January 6th attack, according to Enten. ” And more than that, as it went into the rear-view picture, far fewer people thought that it was their range one memory”.
This disillusionment underscores why Joe Biden’s strategy of making January 6 a large portion portion of his administration’s messaging failed. As CNN’s John Berman noted, it “never actually was registering”. The Democrat Party’s attempts to use the Capitol riot as a steadfast social weapon against Trump have failed.
Jan. 6 simply didn’t include the profound feeling some Dems hoped. Just 5 % of voters say it’s their# 1 memory of Trump’s 1st term.
Additionally, a much lower percentage of respondents now ( below 40 % ) believe that Trump is largely to blame for the Capitol attack.

The bottom line? January 6 has become a historic note for most American, far from the game-changing matter Democrats envisioned. While they may have bet big on the mob describing Trump’s tradition, voters seem to have made up their minds: it’s time to walk on.
