Mark Zuckerberg, the company’s CEO, made a significant change, removing the strictest form of censorship. On Tuesday, Zuckerberg revealed Meta’s ‘ point checking’ system may become replaced with the” group notes” system.

Following in Elon Musk’s feet to bring back free conversation on social media platforms, the change may change Facebook, Instagram, and Fibers. ” We’re gonna get back to our roots and focus on reducing errors, simplifying our laws and restoring completely expression on our programs”, Zuckerberg said in a five-minute picture.

” More precisely, here’s what we’re going to do. Second, we’re going to eliminate point chess and substitute them with Community Notes that look like X, starting in the U.S. S”.

Zuckerberg noted that moderation measures have “gone too far” and promote discussion on issues like gender and immigration rather than shut down users based on their heterodox beliefs or opinions.

According to Zuckerberg,” the issue here is that the filters make mistakes and get down a lot of information that don’t.” ” But by dialing them again, we’re going to significantly reduce the amount of repression on our websites”.

There will also be a profit to political articles on Meta’s three main websites. In the past, customers asked to stop seeing social content before Meta stopped recommending them. However, because” we’re in a new time now,” as Zuckerberg put it, Meta did return political content while attempting to maintain a “friendly and good” tone of the conversation.

Ironically, Meta’s confidence and security and content moderation clubs will also be moving out of California to Texas, “where there’s less worry about the discrimination of our clubs”, Zuckerberg added.

Zuckerberg even stated that he intends to work with the Trump administration and that he anticipates the U.S. government’s support then that a president will be in office who will allow free speech. He made the observation that this was impossible to accomplish during the Biden administration’s previous four years, which had advocated for repression itself.

The video’s author, Zuckerberg, stated in the end that” the bottom line is that after years of having our content moderation function focused mainly on removing information, it is time to focus on reducing errors, simplifying our methods, and returning to our origins about giving people words.”
