David Axelrod said Monday that while he doesn’t think President-elect Donald Trump is capable of working with political opponents, if he’s able to do so and satisfy his campaign promises, the result would be for the” good of the country”.
” If he does all those things, God bless him. Great for him… and fine for the nation”, he said. ” If there are areas where the Democrats and Republicans is cooperate, that is a good”.
The Democratic scientist claimed that Trump spends too much time airing concerns and that he has shown little desire to work with Democrats and has done so in the past.

” If you read his cultural media feeds, that is very apparent, even to this day. It may behoove him, as it does Democrats, to state,’ I have bigger things to do than weather my concerns and go after my opponents,'” he said.” ‘ Where possible, I want to work with people. Let’s see if he does that”.
Axelrod was appointed as senior adviser to the president under Obama and served as the campaign’s general planner.
