Trump’s statement comes after the National Archives was the subject of the case involving classified records against him. Judge Aileen Cannon dismissed the situation in July.
” We will ]have a] new archivist”, Trump said on the Hugh Hewitt Show on Monday.
After the ministry reported to the Department of Justice that some of the records Trump gave were marked” classified,” Shogan was appointed as director of the National Archives, bringing up claims that Trump had handled them improperly since he left the Oval Office. Since joining the archivists in 2023, she followed suit by releasing information about John F. Kennedy’s murder and thousands of other documents to assist in President Joe Biden’s attempted assassination.
