Former President Jimmy Carter’s death march may make its way to Washington, D. C., on Tuesday, ahead of the funeral service for the late president on Thursday.
Here is the plan for where the former president’s casket will be in the coming time so that everyone has one last chance to pay their respects as the nation mourns for the 39th leader.
Appearance in DC
Carter’s last visit to Washington, D.C., saw the transfer of his tomb from the Carter Center to Georgia’s Dobbins Air Reserve Base, where it will be transferred to Joint Base Andrews in Maryland on Tuesday night. Carter’s tomb is expected to arrive in the Washington, D. C., place at 2: 15 p. m. EST, where the tomb and his family will get a limousine to the Navy Memorial.
Carter may get transferred to a horse-drawn shaft at around 3:30 p.m. and marched down Pennsylvania Avenue to the Capitol. The parade will make its way to the Capitol at around 4:30 p.m. to move Carter’s bones into the tower and to the Capitol rotunda.
At 4: 30 p. m., Congress may keep a company paying their respects to the late leader.

The consumer may be allowed to pay their respects as Carter lies in state from about 7: 30 p. m. to 12 a. m. on Tuesday, along with all time Wednesday from 7 a. m. through 7 a. m. on Thursday, when the trip time begins.
Those who want to pay their respects may have to stand in a line outside the customer centre and inside, according to Capitol Police. The range will open to the public at 6: 30 p. m. on Tuesday.

Carter’s keeps will keep the Capitol at 9 a. m. on Thursday, being sent to the National Cathedral at 10 a. m. for a funeral services. Later that evening, Carter may travel to Georgia for a personal funeral services at Maranatha Baptist Church .

Carter’s death has caused numerous road closures and increased surveillance throughout Washington, D. C., in between a pair of high-profile activities, including President-elect Donald Trump’s opening on Jan. 20.
