The Washington Post lost more than$ 70 million last year, and instead of making a course correction, they doubled down on woke. One of their artists recently resigned as a result of Jeff Bezos ‘ rejection of her anti-Trump film, which even criticized her own newspaper.
Then the paper is laying off lots of employees. It turns out judgments have effects.
The Washington Post has caught the attention of its most extreme left users, just like many other liberal media sources. Because they would gain the most popular readership they had left, they can’t locate socially.
Breitbart News accounts:
Report—’ The Cuts May Be Deep’: Washington Post to Lay Off Lots of Staff
The Washington Post reportedly will lay off dozens of its staff members over the coming days, the news of which came after the publication received criticism for supporting Vice President Kamala Harris ( D) during Donald Trump’s victory in November’s presidential election.
In his article published on Status, Oliver Darcy wrote Sunday that” the cuts are slated to reach the Jeff Bezos-owned and Will Lewis-led publication’s business sector, I’m told. According to one person with knowledge of the situation, the cuts will be severe and have an effect on some dozens of people.
According to Breitbart News, Bezos has apparently been shaking up the Post since it made the decision not to support Harris.
Darcy continued:
The newspaper’s struggling circulation, which has experienced a expertise exodus for the past few weeks, did undoubtedly suffer from the layoffs. Josh Dawsey, the Post’s legend writer, may leave for The Wall Street Journal, as I previously reported. His exit comes on the feet of another major employees fleeing, including Matea Gold, Ashely Parker, Michael Scherer, Charles Lane, Tyler Pager, and Amanda Katz.
If you think they had to reduce their “gender columnist,” FOX News is reporting that the WaPo has also had to do so:
Washington Post editors’ killed’ item from its ‘ female columnist,’ prepare to waste role completely
According to Fox News Digital, The Washington Post intends to sack its “gender blogger” place after the author wrote a piece that the paper’s editors ultimately rejected.
Monica Hesse, who made headlines in 2018 by becoming The Post’s first-ever “gender columnist”, will never hold that title far longer after writing a paragraph about sex was “killed” by her readers, two sources tell Fox News Digital. What Hesse wrote in the paragraph and what the editors disagreed with are questionable.
Hesse, now a columnist for the paper’s Model section, is expected to be reassigned sometimes to its Opinions section or stay in Style while a reporter, the sources added.
Liberal policies have an incredible success rate for destroying recognizable brands.
The Washington Post is continuing its liberal media decline, with” Cuts May Be Deep” appearing first on The Gateway Pundit.
